Vortex is a “Top Spin” ride, a type of amusement ride where riders are seated on a platform that rotates on a horizontal axis, swinging and spinning in various directions. Riders are seated in rows on the boat that swings back and forth while also spinning 360 degrees. The ride was previously located elsewhere in the park and operated under the name Rockin Tu
